Willie James Jackson

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our dearest father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend Willie James Jackson.

Willie was born in Haines City, Florida on May 25, 1952, as one of Doris and Albert Jackson Sr.’s eight children. Growing up in Haines City, Willie was very curious and adventurous and shared countless experiences with his father, Albert Jackson, and his brother Albert Jr.

After high school Willie joined the Job Corps, and after serving for 2 years he joined the United States Marine Corps. Willie traveled the world serving his country for four years after which he transitioned to civilian life.

He lived most of his adult life in Miami Florida. Willie is survived by his daughter Leticia Jackson – Glenn (Shawn), grandsons Jared and Joshua, and his sisters and brother, Connie Warren, Lois Richard, Deborah Peyton, and Gregory Jackson.

Willie’s legacy will be cherished and remembered by the many lives he impacted. 

A memorial service will be held at the Richard Funeral Services, Haines City FL, on July 11, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
