Wilfredo Leonidas Gonzalez passed away on September 25, 2026, in Haines City, Florida. He was born on December 7, 1931, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Wilfredo lived a life marked by hard work and faith. He worked in construction and as a carpet cleaner, dedicating himself to honest labor through the years. Among the accomplishments closest to his heart was helping others learn about God and His Son, Jesus. That work of faith and encouragement was a meaningful part of his life and the way he cared for those around him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Gonzalez, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage, and by his father, Juan Hernandez, and Mother, Carmen M. Gonzalez.

Wilfredo is survived by his daughter, Rebeca Perez; his son, Abraham Gonzalez; and his daughter, Dorca Gonzalez Rivera. May his memory bring comfort to his family and to all who knew him.
