Vanessa Eugene, lovingly known to many as Nessa, was born on February 27, 2006, in Delmar, Haiti. She departed this world far too soon on May 8, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that touched all those who had the privilege to know her.
Family members that survive Vanessa include her devoted mother, Sheila Jeanlys; her father, Roberson Eugene; her beloved sister, Gihanna Teda; and her caring brothers, Jayden and Jayven Teda. The bond they shared with Vanessa was beautifully evident, marked by laughter, love, and countless cherished memories. She was a shining light in their lives, and her absence will be profoundly felt.
Vanessa was a down-to-earth soul, known for her laid-back nature and an immense capacity for caring. She possessed a gentle spirit, often keeping to herself, yet she demonstrated a friendliness that put others at ease. Those fortunate enough to take the time to get to know her understood the depths of her character—a truly lovely person whose compassion knew no bounds.
Among her proudest accomplishments was her graduation from high school, a milestone that reflected her determination and hard work. With a fondness for strawberry ice cream and a zest for spending time out with friends, Vanessa found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Whether she was working or enjoying leisure time with her companions, she made an impact on those around her, reminding them of the importance of being genuine and kind-hearted.
Vanessa's life will be celebrated during a visitation at First Christian Church, located at 705 S 14th St, Haines City, FL, on May 24, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM. Her earthly journey will culminate with a burial service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, FL, beginning at 12:45 PM.
Though she has left us physically, Nessa's spirit and the memories created with her will remain alive in the hearts of her family and friends. In our sorrow, we find solace, cherishing the beautiful moments shared with a remarkable young woman who graced our lives for a brief, yet impactful time.
