Sonel Celestin

Sonel Celestin passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on March 1, 1961 to his parents, Darecois Celestin and Amelita Jean Baptiste. Sonel’s life was marked by the deep bonds of family, and his memory will be carried forward by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind a large and loving family who will continue to honor his life and cherish his memory. Sonel is survived by his children, Soniel, Jean Sorel, Marie Evelyne, Juliamene, Junette, and Dieusel Celestin, whose lives stand as part of his lasting legacy.

Sonel will also be lovingly remembered by his many sisters and brothers. He is survived by his siblings, Juliana, Yolene, Yva, Lucienne, Missiolene, Laurene, Vena, Monise, Eliana, Germaine, Lisette, Rose Michelle Pierre, Jean Sony, Anthoniel, David, Limorne, Gilbert, Veniel, limane, and Maxon Celestin. The strength of this wide family circle reflects the many connections and relationships that surrounded Sonel throughout his life.

His legacy continues as well through his grandchildren, who brought added joy to the family: Ferrelson, Sterline, and Feckenson Jolibois; Erickson, Duval, Dylan, Ellie Luma, Kensia, John Wood, Bryan, Kerwens, Kensley, Kaeden, Layla, and Kyree Celestn. In them, his memory will live on for generations to come.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Sonel’s life. A visitation will be held on August 28, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Richard Funeral Services, 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, Florida 33844. A Celebration of Life will take place on August 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Beraca First Haitian Baptist Church, 1250 26th St, Haines City, Florida 33844.

Sonel Celestin will be remembered with love, gratitude, and enduring affection. May his memory bring comfort to his family and peace to all who mourn his passing.
