Roberta "Bobbie" Zimmerle

Mrs. Roberta Zimmerle, most affectionately known as Bobbie, passed away on December 19, 2022 in Davenport, FL surrounded by her loving family at the age of 88. She was born on July 22, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to her parents, John and Bertie Mae Zimmerle. Mrs. Zimmerle spent over 12 years serving at the State of Illinois Corrections office where she later retired from. She enjoyed pen and ink drawings, gardening and cooking in her leisure. She was an active Jehovah’s Witness for over 56 years.

Mrs. Zimmerle married Dennis Graves Simpson, and they shared 14 years marriage and three children together. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Graves Simpson.

Mrs. Zimmerle leaves her children, Beverly Ann Simpson, Dennis Simpson, Lawrence Jay Simpson; siblings, John Zimmerle, Fredrick Zimmerle, Paul Zimmerle, James Zimmerle, Barbara Zimmerle-Segerson, Thomas Zimmerle and a host of family and friends to cherish her memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Davenport, Florida.
