Olive Ismay Owens

Olive Ismay Owens, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones in her daughter’s home on Wednesday morning, April 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on May 25, 1934, Olive lived in Belize City for 30-plus years and birthed her seven children: Stephen, Rosalia, Meriline, Francis, Martha, Reginald, and Rafael. Her strength was her children, and she lived through all of them.

Olive was a God-fearing woman; We loved her but God loved her more. There was never a person who would walk into her house that would leave empty handed. She was generous, kind, and caring. Olive would light up the room with her smile. Olive’s legacy lives on through her seven children, 19 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering support to those around her. Her legacy of love and generosity will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services. 233 N 9th Street Haines City, FL 33844.
