Nelson M. Fernandez

Nelson M. Fernandez Sr. passed away on July 2nd, 2024 in Haines City, Fl. He was 78. Born in Baitoa, Dominican Republic, to his parents Jose Fernandez and Fresolina Nunez, Nelson enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was marrried for 54 years to his wife Santa Fernandez. Nelson will be missed by all who knew him. Nelson was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Fresolina Fernandez, and two of his children; Harry and Madellyn Fernandez. Mr. Fernandez leaves behind his wife Santa Fernandez, his sons Nelson Jr. (Diana) and Alex (Travis); his grandchildren Jacqueline, Ashley, Jose, Nelson III, his great grand child Oliver, and host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation for Nelson will be held on Friday, July 5th from 5 to 9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 12 p.m. All services will be held at Richard Funeral Services in Haines City, Fl. 233 N 9th Street.
