Mohan Loorkhoor

Mr. Mohan Steve Loorkhoor most affectionately known as "Khoor" passed away on October 30, 2023 in Orlando, Florida at the age of 73. He was born on December 25, 1949 in San Fernando, Trinidad to his parents, Loorkhoor Charan and Baboonie Pariag.

Mr. Loorkhoor served for 43 years as a Public Servant for the Ministry of Agriculture where he retired. He was also a proud member of the Public Service Association. In his leisure he enjoyed fishing, entertaining family, beach time, cricket, and football.

Mr. Loorkhoor later met the love of his life, Jean Loorkhoor, and they shared over 49 years of marriage together. He was loved by everyone who knew him and he is already missed.

Mr. Mohan Loorkhoor is preceded in death by his parents, Baboonie Pariag & Loorkhoor Charan and his siblings, Kushma and Kapildeo.

He leaves his loving wife, Jean Loorkhoor; his children, Suzannah, Alicia, Sarah, Jason; his daughter-in-law, Sharon; his sons-in-law, Neil, Wayne; his grandchildren, Shaun, Shane, Nicolas, Shay, Jaeda and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish his legacy.

The Celebration of Life for Mr. Loorkhoor will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Richard Funeral Services 233 North 9th Street Haines City, FL 33844.
