Mileidy Gil Simon, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on July 30, 2025, in Orlando, Florida at the young age of 27. Born on April 2, 1998, in the Dominican Republic, Mileidy was known for her kind and loving personality that touched the lives of many.
Mileidy's career in hospitality as a housekeeper showcased her dedication and hard work. She found joy in serving others, embodying the heartfelt kindness that defined her character.
She is survived by her father, Nilcio Gil, and her mother, Persite Simon. Along with her parents, she leaves behind her cherished siblings: brothers Kelbi Gil and Kenson Gil; sisters Cadette Gil, Micheline Gil, and Landie Gil. Mileidy's family also includes her beloved nephews, Louicito Gil and Jaden Destiné, and niece, Juliana Fenelus. A supportive and caring family, she shared meaningful moments with her uncles and aunts: Wilfrene Simon, William Simon, Herode Simon, Roselene Simon, and Jesulene Simon. Effortless connections and memories were built with her cousins, Philomene Louis and Adriano Louis.
In addition to her family, Mileidy was deeply involved in her community and her faith. She had a special bond with Pastor Dulard Frederic and members of the Haitian Reformed Christian Church in the Dominican Republic, reflecting her commitment to her beliefs and the support she found within her spiritual family.
A celebration of Mileidy’s life will be held on August 23, 2025, at the Berakah Community Church of 4 Corners in Davenport, Florida, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, Florida, where she will be laid to rest at 12:15 PM.
Mileidy Gil Simon leaves an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her spirit of kindness and love remains in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
