Jimmie Arnold Feagle

Jimmie Arnold Feagle was born to Wilbur and Wilma Feagle on September 04, 1943 in Lake City, FL. He was the youngest of 4 children. He was educated in the Polk County Public School system and a graduate of Haines City High School. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War as an Intelligence Officer for the ASA. Following his military career, he attended Polk Junior College and earned his AA degree in 1970. He went on to continue his education at St. Leo College, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987. He worked for State Farm Insurance Company for 20 years and then United Agriculture Products for 10 years.

Arnold was a Christian and a devoted member of First Baptist of Dundee from 1948 to 1980. Arnold was married to June McDougald Feagle for 9 years. He then married Laura White Feagle and had 3 children: Amanda, Brent and Ryan over the course of their 20-year marriage.  He is a member of Dundee Baptist Temple in Dundee, FL.

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, the Lord called him home from the Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Wilma Feagle; his siblings, Robert Feagle (Shelby Jean) and Willia Mae Feagle and is survived by Buford Feagle (Beatrice) and Franklin Feagle (Pam).

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his children; Amanda Hall (David) of Lake Alfred, FL; Brent Feagle (Crystal) of Alma, GA; and Robert Ryan Feagle (Chelsea) of Dundee, FL; 8 grandchildren: Madison, Skylar, Bristol, Hayden, Tyndal, Oakley, Landon and Savannah and several nieces and nephews.

Arnold was a gentle soul who loved everyone he met. He enjoyed telling stories and connecting with people. He loved spending time in nature; hunting, fishing, boating, camping and joy riding through Green Swamp, Three Lakes, Ocala National Forest and Osceola National Forest.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Richard Funeral Services Chapel.
