Evelyn Lugo Santiago

Evelyn Lugo Santiago, of Haines City, Florida, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 69. She was born on December 21, 1956, in San German, Puerto Rico.

Evelyn will be remembered as a loving, caring, and supportive woman whose spirit brought comfort to those around her. She always looked on the bright side of people and of life, offering warmth and encouragement with a generous heart. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she loved serving in the church. She also found joy in working in her garden, tending it with the same care she gave to the people she loved.

Among Evelyn’s greatest joys was being a grandmother, a role she cherished deeply. Her family was at the center of her life, and she gave them her love freely and faithfully.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Victor Rivera; her sons, Josue Rivera and Galeb Rivera; and a cherished family circle that includes Ramiro, Ana, Luz, Elba, Lidia, Rosita, and Ina, together with her grandchildren, Emilio, Evelyn, and Jeremy. She was preceded in death by her father, Augusto Lugo Vega, and her mother, Maria Santiago.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Richard Funeral Services, 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, FL 33844. Burial will follow from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery, 2646 E. Grace Avenue, Haines City, FL 33844.

Evelyn Lugo Santiago leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
