Ernestine Moody

On Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025, God sent his angels to guide me to a better place, no pain, no suffering, free of this world to reside in paradise. Funeral service will be held at M. C. Smith Funeral Home, 117 Gilmore St., Sandersville, GA 31082. Ernestine Moody, a resident of Tampa, FL journey of life expired on June 17, 2025 at 7:19 a.m. She was born on July 21, 1939 to Robert Demons and Eloise Field Demons in Tennille, GA. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Ernest Moody; parents, Robert Demons and Eloise Field  Demons; and two brothers, Willie R. Demons and Sammy George Bivens. She leaves to cherish her sweet memories with two daughters, Idella Thomas, Selecha Allen (Michael Rufus); three sons, Otis Brown (Caroline Rutledge), Tyrone Thomas and Frederick Allen; sixteen  grandchildren, Otis Anderson, Roderick Little, Micheal Allen, Maurice Thomas, Shakendra Thomas(Joseph Evans), Jonathn Johnson,  Dionnedra Garvin, Mosi Allen, Iman Allen, Stephan Thomas, Royer Thomas, Destiny Thomas, Omari Allen, Makaila Thomas, Mario Brown, Stephanie Brown; bonus grandchildren, Ignatius Pryor, Louis Hudson, Deshanasty Jackson; seventeen great grandchildren; four sisters,  Mrs. Addie Lee Roberson, Mrs. Cherrie Lee Haynes, Mrs. Ressie Mae Williams and Mrs. Lillie Pearl Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews,  cousins and friends. I miss you, more than I thought was possible. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 5 – 8 p.m. at 1st Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th St, Tampa, FL.
