Denardo Nash Thorpe Walter

November 3, 2003 — June 8, 2025

Lakeland, Florida

Denardo Nash Thorpe Walter, fondly known as Nash or Nardo, was born on November 3, 2003, in Kingston, Jamaica. He departed this life much too soon on June 8, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, leaving a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew and loved him.

Nash was a gentle spirit with a heart full of joy, who brought laughter into the lives of those around him. His infectious humor and jovial nature made him a beloved friend and family member. Those who were graced with his presence will undoubtedly always remember his best jokes and the radiant smile that could light up any room. He was the type of person who reveled in the simple pleasures of life, finding happiness in music, driving, and the exhilaration of playing football.

Nash's sense of protectiveness shone through in his caring relationships. His mother, Lamenter Walter, often experienced his overprotective nature, as he would call her just two minutes after she left the house, ensuring her safety. This loving concern reflected not only his profound care for his family but also the strong ties that bound him to those he cherished.

As a proud and accomplished young man, Nash graduated from high school and earned his G.E.D., later obtaining a forklift license. He took great pride in his achievements and his cars, reflecting an ambitious spirit and a love for precision in all that he undertook.

Nash is survived by a loving family: his daughter, Kayloni Nashayla Thorpe; his mother, Lamenter Walter; his father, Delano Walter; his sisters, Jadeen Walter and Iadeen Thorpe; his cousin, Welcome; his aunts, Gayon and Lamoy; his uncles, Fiya and Silva; and a second mother, Jessica. Additionally, he leaves behind his brothers from another mother: Paige Robinson, Delano Bishop, Chuck, and Two Four, who together formed an unbreakable bond with him that transcended biological ties.

Friends and family are invited to honor Nash’s memory. Viewing will be held on June 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Richard Funeral Services, located at 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, FL 33844. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Nash will then be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery, with burial services commencing at 2:15 PM.

Nash will be forever remembered for his laughter, his protective demeanor, and the warmth he brought into the lives of many. His spirit will continue to live on in the memories shared and the love he fostered.
