Christopher Lane Kennedy “Chris” was born to Cassandra Frazier and Robert Kennedy Jr. on July 17, 1994 in the city of Bartow, FL and raised in Haines City, FL.
Chris was educated in Polk County School District, graduating from Haines City High School in 2013. Chris also furthered his education at Hopkinsville Community College, where he earned an Associates of Science degree.
In 2015, Chris joined the United States Army, where he proudly served as a 12B-Combat Engineer and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his distinguished military career, he received numerous awards and decorations for his exceptional contributions to our nation's defense, to include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Certificate of Achievement (2), Army Good Conduct Medal (3), American Defense Service Medal, and U.S. Army Basic Recruiter Badge-Silver. Chris was also a U.S. Army Paratrooper and Air Assault Qualified. Chris served in 571st Sapper Company, Fort Lewis, Washington; 39th BEB ACO, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; and U.S. Army Madison Recruiting Office, Nashville Recruiting Batallion.
Chris was a self-proclaimed simple man. He never needed or asked for much. His happiness came from his family. His wife Emily and daughter Gabriella were his purpose. He loved to travel to dirt bike races and spending quality time with his family. In his spare time, he loved listening to music and investing in stocks.
Chris passed away on June 21, 2025 at HCA Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, Florida. An incredible man with a caring heart, Chris leaves to cherish his memory his wife Emily Kennedy, daughter Gabriella Kennedy, mother Cassandra Frazier, father Robert Kennedy Jr., sister Vanqueshia Kennedy, three brothers Robert Kennedy III, David Wright, Terrance Dixon, grandparents Marvin and Dorothy Frazier, Robert Sr., and Betty Kennedy. Great-grandmother Catherine Kennedy. Mother-in-law is Cenia Michel. six aunts Tammy Frazier-Guzman, Catherine Kennedy, Jackie Kennedy, Stacey Edwards, Jennifer Dubose, Jessica Hawkins, six uncles Marvin N. Frazier, Tyrone T. Frazier, David T. Frazier, Chris Kennedy, Dwayne Kennedy, and Eric Kennedy, sister-in-law Charity Michel, nephew Riley Kennedy, a special stepmother Ruby Dixon, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Chris will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Richard Funeral Services 233 North 9th Street Haines City, FL 33844. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00a.m. at Oakland Church of Christ 1106 Avenue F Haines City, FL 33844.
