Arsides Ramos

With heavy hearts yet with gratitude for a life lived with exuberant kindness, we remember Arsides “Alex” Ramos, who departed this world on August 11, 2026, in Haines City, Florida. Born on October 30, 1961, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Alex’s journey through life was marked by warmth, laughter, and an ever-open door.

From the earliest days of his upbringing, Alex exemplified the virtues that would define him throughout the years: devotion to those he loved, a spirit eager for adventure, and a generosity of heart that touched every soul fortunate enough to cross his path. He was the beloved husband of Jeanette Ramos, his partner in both life’s greatest joys and simplest pleasures. Together, Alex and Jeanette built a home filled with laughter, delicious meals cooked and shared, stories told late into the night, and a spirit of adventure that brought friends and family together time and time again.

Alex was predeceased by his cherished father, Pedro Ramos, and his dear sister, Nancy Ramos. Their memories remained vibrant in his heart, propelling him to live every day honorably and joyfully as a tribute to the ones who went before him.

Retiring in 2024 from SHP Management Corp, Alex left behind not only a record of dedicated work but also a legacy of hospitality and sincere care. He was admired for his natural ability to make anyone feel at ease, always ready to take on a new challenge, and remained steadfast in his faith and convictions.

He found beauty in the simplest moments: running beneath wide skies, tending to blossoming gardens, and joyfully serving with zeal in spiritual ministry. There was nothing he enjoyed more than hosting others with Jeanette by his side, their home a constant haven for uplifting conversation, good food, and genuine companionship.

Above all, Alex’s proudest accomplishment was his devoted faith and his zealous service to Jehovah. This unwavering purpose radiated through every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every gathering he so lovingly orchestrated.

Those left to cherish his memory—especially his loving wife Jeanette and countless friends whose lives he brightened—will always remember Alex as loving, funny, and honorable. His legacy is one of open arms, unshakable faith, and the gentle, lasting impact of unconditional love.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Alex Ramos are invited to join in honoring his memory at a Celebration of Life service on August 15, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Richard Funeral Services, 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, FL 33844.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, Alex’s laughter, kindness, and indomitable spirit remain with us—guiding, embracing, and inspiring those who knew and loved him.
