It is with deep sorrow and profound respect that we announce the passing of Andieu Durosca, a remarkable man whose journey began on July 25, 1944, in the quaint town of Borgne, Haiti. After an inspiring and full life, he departed this world on January 30, 2026, in Davenport, Florida, leaving behind a legacy filled with cherished memories and indelible impressions on those who had the privilege to know him.
Andieu dedicated a decade of his professional life to Steak Place, where his unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence were matched only by his amiable demeanor. He was not merely an employee; he was a valued member of the community, known for his infectious humor, kindness, and ability to weave tales that captivated the hearts of many. His laughter was a balm, and his stories, spun with the rich colors of experience, painted vivid pictures that united friends and family in shared joy.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Andieu was a proud green thumb, pouring his love into the earth as he cultivated beautiful gardens that flourished under his care. He embraced his hobbies wholeheartedly, whether it was engaging in spirited games of dominoes, fervently watching sports, or cheering on his favorite wrestling matches. These interests reflected his zest for life—a testament to his dynamic spirit.
Andieu’s family, a large and loving circle, will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He is survived by his devoted sister Celira Durosca, his dear sister Tanya Durosca, and his loving son Gerde Durosca. His daughters Geurlande, Guerda, Viergelie, and Julie Durosca will hold onto the lessons and warmth he imparted. Additionally, Andieu’s daughter-in-law, Marie Choate, and a host of grandkids, nieces, and nephews, will continue to celebrate the life and values he passed down through generations.
He reunites now with several beloved family members who have gone before him: his cherished father Laguere Durosca, his beloved mother Lexirene Durosca, and his dear wife Luna Etienne. He also joins his brother Roderigue Durosca and son Wyslyn Durosca in eternal rest.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Andieu’s memory on February 13, 2026, beginning at 9:30 AM at Richard Funeral Services, located at 233 N. 9th Street, Haines City, FL, 33844. This gathering will be a testament to the vibrant legacy he leaves behind. Following this, a burial service will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, 547 County Rd, Davenport, FL, at 12:15 PM.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Andieu Durosca, we will not only remember a hard worker and an aficionado of laughter and stories but also honor a man who embodied love, strength, and unity within his family. His spirit will forever illuminate our paths, and he shall always remain in our hearts.
