Alan Randolph Jefferson

Mr. Alan Randolph Jefferson passed away on June 23, 2023 in Haines City, Florida at the age of 78. He was born on July 2, 1944 to his parents, Berniece and Merrill E. Jefferson.

He later met the love of his life, Marian Fritts and they shared love and marriage together. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he is already missed by everyone who loved him.

Mr. Jefferson retired from Washington Gas Light Company in 1999. After 38 years of service he retired as a Senior Draftsman. In his free time, he enjoyed knife collecting, cars, car shows, fishing, bingo, bowling, photography, swimming and vegetable gardening.

Mr. Jefferson is preceded in death by his parents, Berniece and Merrill Jefferson and his brother, Don.

Mr. Alan Randolph Jefferson leaves his loving and devoted wife, Marian Jefferson; his daughters, Christine Hill, Pam Hagerty (Jim-Deceased); his grandchildren, David Wozney (Emily), Miles Hill, Taylor Hagerty; his great-grandson, Logan Alexander Wozny; his brother, Fred and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his legacy.

He is gone

Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
